Most
air purifiers have a fundamental flaw: They rely on air being pulled
through the unit in order to clean it, and it takes quite a lot of
suction to pull air past all those convoluted fibers. Thus, air cleaners
with HEPA filtration need powerful motors to effectively remove some of
the particulate (true HEPA only traps particulate as small as .03 ppm), which
creates an ineffective, noisy, high energy cost air purifier. And HEPA air
cleaners with minimal suction power or sealed poorly aren't very effective.
Matters are complicated if a carbon filter is needed for odors and chemicals,
because the air needs to flow more slowly through the carbon to maximize chemical
absorption, yet may not flow fast enough for the HEPA to work. (Read
a comparison of photocatalytic oxidation to HEPA filters.)
Air Oasis G3 Air Purifiers utilize a new generation of technology that does not rely on filters or air passing through the air purifier. Air Oasis produces a blanket of redundant oxidizers -- the same oxidizers created by nature and your body -- that clean your air and sanitize surfaces. The photocatalytic oxidation technology of the Air Oasis G3 Air Purifiers far surpasses HEPA and other filtration systems because it can effectively treat pollution as small as .001 microns (herbicides, pesticides and most viruses). And we offer the best price around.
"After having used the Air Oasis 3000 Air Purifier for two months in the bedroom it has stopped my nasal drainage and a hacking cough. The air seems fresher. It seemed to have started working the second day." -- Jack S., St. Louis, MO Read Air Oasis Testimonials
All Air Oasis Air Purifier models utilize a high-performance nanoNickel HCT™ five precious metal catalyst, nano size metals to increase the kinetic rate of reaction and photocatalytic oxidation, which not only removes particulate matter like dust mites, pet dander, mold spores and pollen, they will even eliminate molds, yeasts, bacteria, viruses, chemicals, gases, fumes and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that come from such sources as cleaning solutions, carpets, paints, building materials and formaldehyde. Most air filters sold in stores do not remove gaseous VOCs. Additionally, even if a HEPA filter traps bacteria, germs and viruses, it doesn't kill them. And, unfortunately, when you replace the filter, the bacterial, germs and viruses on the filter are released back into the air. Plus, Air Oasis UV lamps utilize a proprietary long life coating allowing them to outlast any UV lamp on the market. Read more about Air Oasis Technology
"I am completely blown away from the quality of air that is put out by this Air Oasis machine. My wife and I sleep so much better now that this air purifier has cleaned our home. People that visit us even make comments about how fresh the air seems and how easy they can breath in our home. It is such a good feeling to know that my family is breathing healthy air again." -- Roy Parker
Here is a partial list of particulates, microbials, odors and other pollution the Air Oasis photocatalytic oxidation technology treats:
Particulates: dust mites, dust mite feces, pollen, pet dander, skin flakes (food for dust mites), smoke particles, allergens, etc. (Read a comparison of photocatalytic oxidation to HEPA filters.)
Gases/Chemical Fumes: VOC's (volatile organic compounds), chemicals like benzene and formaldehyde, cigarette smoke, plus fumes constantly escaping from construction, carpets, upholstery, furniture, drapes, cleaning materials, dry cleaning, nail treatment products and more. In a recent study conducted by Texas AM University, formaldehyde was reduced by 60% in four hours. See Air Oasis Test Results
Odors: animals, pets, food, body, cooking, smelly sports and camping equipment, shoes, litter boxes, cigarette, cigar, pipe smoke, smoke damage, etc.
Microbials: germs, microscopic bacteria, viruses, fungi, mildew, mold spores and mycotoxins produced by a fungus, as small as .001 microns. Microbials often thrive in heating and air conditioning ducts. See below and our testimonial page for many Air Oasis customers' before and after microbial test results. A study was recently completed by West Texas A&M University to compare the concentration of microbial colonies before and after using the Air Oasis UV air cleaner. A number of sets of the petri-plates and coated slides were placed at 1 foot, 2 feet, 4 feet, 6 feet and 12 feet away from the Air Oasis photocatalytic oxidation unit. After 72 hours of treatment of the indoor air with the Air Oasis Air Purifier, there was no microbial colony produced on the petri-plates. What does this test show? When using an Air Oasis air purifier you are well protected from microbials. See Test Results
WARNING: Most other air purifiers that treat 1000 sq. ft. or more use dangerous levels of ozone. The State of California even created an Air Purifier Ozone Ban List. Air Oasis Is NOT on California's Ozone Air Purifier Ban List: read list.
The amount of square footage covered depends on the pollution sources, floor plan, occupancy, ceiling height and air circulation. For example, a highly polluted 500 square foot space could need two Air Oasis 1000s or the Air Oasis 3000 or the 3000 Xtreme to effectively treat the pollution. If you have a tough pollution problem, like cigarette smoke, chemical fumes from new construction, carpeting, furniture, wall/floor treatments or electronic equipment, chemicals from nail salons and hair salons, etc., give us a call toll free (US and Canada) at 866-875-4386 or send us an email.

The following are a few business applications for Air Oasis Air Purifiers:
There are many "knock off" air purifiers on the market that claim to use PCO (PhotoCatalyticOxidation) technology. If not used properly PCO technology will do little to purify your air. In fact it can cause an increase in harmful contamination.
Researchers have found with many PCO air purifiers that because of incomplete decomposition of the VOC's in the air stream there is a net production of formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, formic acid and acetic acid. Of particular concern was that the outlet concentrations of formaldehyde and acetaldehyde were 3.4 and 4.6 times the inlet concentrations, respectively. Both formaldehyde and acetaldehyde are recognized as important indoor toxicants. Formaldehyde is classified as a human carcinogen. Governmental guidelines suggest keeping indoor concentrations of formaldehyde and acetaldehyde at very low levels.
Many brands of air purifiers are beginning to use cheap imitations of PCO technology in their product. Most use cheap titanium dioxide (the basic white pigment in paint) as their catalyst. They then combine this with a cheap foreign UV lamp and call it a PCO air purifier. These air purifiers will not usually provide any University studies to validate their claims.
Air Oasis developed a proprietary patent-pending five metal nano catalyst that is far superior to any cheap imitations on the market. Their UV lamps use a proprietary long life coating to more than double their life over competitor lamps. Preliminary results from West Texas A&M University show huge reductions in formaldehyde and other VOCs. Rapid reductions in odors where also observed. The final results will be posted when all testing is concluded.
Don't risk your family's health and waste your hard earned money on cheap imitations. Buy only the best! Buy an Air Oasis!
