• Dust - Dust has long been the bane of meticulous housekeepers, and now there is another reason to banish it from the home. According to researchers, wheezing during the first year of life is more common in infants whose homes have high levels of bacterial endotoxin, an airway irritant that can be present in common house dust. HEPA filters are designed to remove dust as small as .3 microns, and do so quickly (Turned on HIGH, an Airpura can completely remove all particulate in a 2000 square foot area in 30 minutes.). Whereas oxidation air purification technology takes a bit longer because it is dissolving the particulate rather than swiftly removing it using a fan, and it oxidizes particulate as small as .003, such as, herbicides, pesticides and some viruses.
• Airborne Pollen Allergy - Pollen allergies and asthma symptoms triggered by trees, grass, plants and flowers that enter homes through windows and doors are quickly removed from the air with a HEPA filter. • The AP-H600 is the same as the AP-I600, but the HEPA filter is 2" instead of 3" and it comes standard with the Carbon Weave filter for light odors or chemical removal.

• If you need HEPA filtration and have odor or chemical problems, choose the AP-R600 because it has a 2" HEPA filter and an 18 pound carbon filter.

• If you want the best of all worlds, choose the AP-UV600 because it has a 2" HEPA filter for particulate, an 18 lb. carbon filter for odors and chemicals and an Ultraviolet lamp for microbials (molds, yeast, bacteria and viruses).

• If VOCs from new carpeting, painting, furniture, remodeling, new electronic equipment, plastics or other sources is the major problem, the APV-600 is the best choice because it has an 18 lb. Super carbon filter designed specifically for VOCs and a 2" HEPA filter for particulate.

• Largest Carbon Filter: If you have chemical problems, the AP-C600, with a hefty 26 lb carbon filter, would be the best choice.

• If for smokers, choose the AP-T600 with a Tar Barrier filter.
