Airpura
T600 Smoke Eliminator Air Purifier is specifically designed to deal with
tobacco smoke. It features a special TarBarrier pre-filter combined with
a deep carbon bed to absorb the chemicals and gases found in tobacco smoke.
Tobacco smoke contains over 4000 harmful chemicals and gases, including benzene, toulene, formaldehyde and at least 60 carcinogens. The 26 pound Carbon Bed absorbs these chemicals.
Tars emitted from smoking cigars and cigarettes, contributes to the transmission of the harmful effects of tobacco smoke. The Airpura T600 TarBarrier pre-filter traps these tars in the same way as a cigarette filter and removes them from the air stream.
Environmental tobacco smoke is recognized as a serious health hazard for non-smokers as well as smokers. The Airpura T600 is very effective in significantly reducing second hand smoke substances and odors, trapping the airborne particles with special filters, which is especially effective at cleaning the air of tars and chemicals from tobacco smoke.
