The Under-Counter Aquasana Water Filter includes the Countertop model AQ4000 plus an under-counter installation kit for installing the Aquasana AQ-4000 water filtration system under the sink‚ out of the way. Instead of attaching the countertop to your kitchen faucet‚ and sitting on the counter-top, this kit allows you to neatly and easily install the Aquasana filter system under the sink with a push button faucet (see choices below) for dispensing filtered water. Comes complete with mounting bracket‚ supply line “T” fitting for connection to water supply‚ push button "pressure relief" faucet with color coded tubing and easy to follow illustrated installation instructions. Typical installation is less than 20 minutes only using pliers and a screwdriver. 1/2" and 3/8" threaded connectors included for installation on copper or flexible tubing.

Comes complete with 2 stage filter cartridge that lasts 6 months. Stage 1 removes chlorine and enhances pH balance with a natural copper/ zinc mineral media called KDF-55D. The second filtration stage uses a carbonized coconut shell media for the removal of synthetic chemicals and VOCs that vaporize and can be inhaled or absorbed through the skin, potentially causing adverse health and cosmetic effects.
