Assuming a 2.5 gpm (gallons per minute) shower water flow and an average shower time of 10 minutes, you can expect to get roughly 600 showers from the Vitashower SF-1, depending on water quality. Since different attributes of water will affect actual results, the lifetime is dependent on the temperature, pressure and quality of the water.

The flow rate of the showerhead is roughly the same before and after the Vitamin C Shower Filter is installed. It works universally with any standard showerhead.
