The CuZn™ Refillable Under-Counter Water Filter works beneath any home
or office sink to filter up to 10,000 gallons of cold water on demand!
Using a combination of patented trace minerals (Copper-Zinc) which has
been tested to NSF standard 42 and 61, and coconut shell carbon. This
system will remove and/or reduce chlorine, sediment, algae, molds,
scale, bad taste, odors, and other undesirable contaminants that may
effect the quality of your water supply. And unlike carbon only filters,
bacteria can't grow inside the bacteriostatic CuZn filters.
This filter is maintenance free and installs in about 15 minutes,
hooking up to the cold water supply - when you turn on the cold water
it's all CuZn pure!
The CuZn Refillable Under-Counter Water Filter is also
excellent in situations where sulfur and iron are present and a CuZn
Whole House system is not feasible. Sulfur and iron expends the media
more quickly than other contaminants, so refilling the system is
economical and environmentally responsible.

  The CuZn Refillable
Under-Counter Water Filter system treats all incoming
cold water that goes to the kitchen or bathroom sink. Turn on your cold
water faucet for an uninterrupted supply of fresh, clear, filtered
water. The CuZn Under-Counter can also filter hot water, provided it is
flushed with cold water afterward to release the heat that would
otherwise be trapped within the filter housing.

Cyst and Pharmaceutical Drugs Removal
The Under-Counter comes standard with a 5 micron filter. If you
suspect that your water may be contaminate with
cysts or
pharmaceutical drugs upgrade to the 1
micron
filter for an additional $20.
NOTE: Flow capability usually drops off as
the micron rating gets smaller, especially if the water has a lot of
sediment, which well water often has.

Double Cartridge Under-Counter Water Filters works beneath any home or
office sink to filter up to 10,000 gallons of cold water on demand!

system like our in-line and other systems will remove and/or reduce
chlorine, sediment, algae, molds, scale, bad taste, odors, and other
undesirable contaminants that may effect the quality of your water
supply. And unlike carbon only filters, bacteria can't grow inside the
bacteriostatic CuZn filters.
This filter is maintenance free and installs in about 15 minutes,
hooking up to the cold water supply - when you turn on the third faucet
it's all CuZn pure! All models include 3rd faucet and saddle valve for
easy installation. There are two options for the second
cartridge:
Fluoride and Fluorine Removal

of sodium
fluoride or fluorosilic acid
(radioactive toxic waste that contains fluoride) to the water

water.

Nitrate Removal from Well Water or Springs
Drinking water high in nitrate is potentially harmful to human and
animal health. Nitrate (NO3) is a naturally occurring form of nitrogen
(N) which is very mobile in water. It is essential for plant growth and
is often added to soil to improve productivity. Water moving down
through soil after rainfall or irrigation carries dissolved nitrate with
it to ground water. In this way, nitrate enters the water supplies of
many homeowners who use wells or springs. If your source of water is a
well or spring and tests have identified nitrate, select the following
CuZn water filter:

Iron Removal (Orange Tint to Water)
To determine
whether or not the CuZn filter will remove iron from your drinking
water, here's a simple test you can do yourself: Fill a clear glass with
water and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. If the iron settles to the
bottom then the standard 5 micron CuZn Under-Counter Water Filter should
should be able to remove the majority of the iron particles. If the
particles remain suspended, a filter won't help.
