Three types of Pure Water 2GO bottles are available:

  1. Level 2 sports bottles removes chlorine taste and odor and heavy metals, including aluminum, asbestos, cadmium, chromium, copper, lead, mercury and more.
  2. Biological water bottle removes chlorine taste and odor, heavy metals, bacteria, cysts and protozoa, using a  .2 submicro filter and Level 2 prefilter. BEST CHOICE FOR WILDERNESS AND EMERGENCY WATER. If you want to be absolutely safe, first treat the water with Redi-Chlor Chlorine Water Disinfection Tablets, then use the bottle water filter to remove the chlorine.
  3. Level 4 canteen removes chlorine taste and odor, heavy metals, bacteria, cysts, protozoa, VOCs, PCBs, THM's, SOCs, detergents, pesticides and DDT, using a 2 micron filter.

Redi-Chlor tablets are comprised of dry chlorine that is EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) registered for use in disinfecting drinking water. Chlorine is the method of choice for drinking water disinfection by more than 98% of the municipalities and rural water districts here in the US. The 1/4 gram tablet is designed to disinfect 5 gallons of water per tablet. The tablets are double scored to enable the user to split the tablets, to disinfect smaller quantities of water. Each pack of Pure Water 2GO Redi-Chlor tablets consists of 10 tablets (1 blister packet/card containing 10 tablets). This 1 pack is enough tablets to disinfect as much as 50 gallons of water. The recommended dosage as listed on the dosage chart included with the pack is for a total chlorine dose of 9 ppm (parts per million) total available chlorine to the prescribed quantity of water.

The Level 2 Filter fits the Level 2 Pure Water 2GO 16oz and 27oz water bottles and is used as a prefilter for the Biological water bottle. It filters 80 gallons of water, lasting roughly 3 months if used regularly. 

The Level 4 filter only fits the Canteen. It filters 200 gallon of water.

The Biological Filter Set includes two (2) Level 2 filters and one Bilogical Filter. It filters 80 gallons of water, lasting roughly 3 months if used regularly.
