The Miessence skin care line is designed around 4 different skin profiles:

  • Balancing for Normal or T-Zone Combination Skin
  • Purifying for Oily, Problem or Acne Skin
  • Rejuvenating for Dry, Aging or Wrinkling Skin
  • Soothing for Sensitive, Inflamed or Rosacea Skin

You may find it desirable to mix-and-match different products from different profiles to perfectly suit your skin. Here's a brief overview of the Miessence Organic Skin Care products and when you would use each item:

  • Step 1 - Cleanse. Cleansing removes the top layer of dead cells, oil, perspiration and pollution. If your skin is not cleansed properly, it becomes dull and flaky and the oil glands lock up with dirt and cellular waste, causing breakouts and congestion.
    • Exfoliate. A build up of dead skin cells causes a rough and dull appearance. Exfoliating the top layers of dehydrated cells promotes a youthful glowing skin.
    • Detoxifying Mineral Mask. Clay-based masks draw toxins from within the skin so they can be washed away. Clay also firms, tones and refines the skin, promoting a smooth, supple and clear complexion.
    • Probiotic Skin Brightener (NEW PRODUCT). An extremely mild, lactic liquid known to restore and protect the skin's acid mantle, lighten and brighten the complexion, improve photodamaged skin, exfoliate dead skin cells for a smoother, less-wrinkled appearance, help break down impurities, while bringing moisture, clarity and vitality to the skin. Use before Conditioner.
  • Step 2 - Condition. Conditioning feeds the skin with nutrients in the water-soluble botanicals, organic herbs, vitamins and essential oils and provides a hydration base for the moisturizer to lock in. After conditioning, if you have specific skin problems, use one of the following treatment gels:
    • Couperose Treatment Gel. If you have inflammed skin or rosacea, use the Miessence Soothing Couperose treatment Gel.
    • Purifying Treatment Gel. If you have problem skin with break-outs or acne, use the Miessence Blemish treatment gel.
  • Step 3 - Moisturize. This step creates a protective barrier against free radicals and moisture loss, which is one of the main causes of wrinkles. After moisturizing, you can add a serum that locks in hydration and intensively moisturizes the skin, like one of the following:
    • Firming Eye and Neck Serum to treat eye and neck area for crow's feet, crepey and sagging skin in the eye and neck area.
    • Rejuvenessence Facial Serum for tired, stress, dry or aging skin, can be used daily in extreme heat, cold or windy conditions to protect the skin and nightly to help regenerate and revitalize the skin.
    • Ambrosia Essence Serum is an extremely potent combination of eight certified organic and highly effective herbal and flower extracts to sooth, tone and renew the skin.
    • Rose Monsoon Hydrating Mist to rehydrate and invigorate your skin, especially in air-conditioned environments, such as offices and aircraft.
