How it Works: The Environmental Air Sponge contains a solid soap gel coated with activated charcoal. When the container is opened, the two components work together to dissipate a stream of "lighter than air" molecules into the environment, interacting with and neutralizing odor and pollutant molecules. This creates a purer, fresher, healthier air quality.
How Much Is Needed?: As an odor eliminator for challenging conditions -- heavy tobacco smoke, burning odors, restoration fumes, locker odors, animal clinic odors, paint odors solvent fumes, etc. -- one 4 pound container can cover spaces up to 2,400 square feet and can last up to four to six months, depending on the odor problem.
Area of Coverage and Longevity
Under more severe chemical or odor conditions, expect the duration of the odor sponge to be reduced until it has had a chance to stabilize the ambient air in the room.
How to Use: Break the security seal, remove the lid and place the container in the affected area. For tougher problems place the sponge on the lid to expose a greater surface area. Do not place directly on a heated surface (i.e., radiators) or in direct sunlight. One 8 ounce container should last roughly 3 to 4 weeks in a 300 sq. ft. space (less for commercial odor control).
