It features a hefty 26 lb. carbon filter housed in a deep carbon bed to absorb the chemicals, gases and odors. The Airpura C600 is an excellent choice for printing offices, copy stores, nail salons (formadehyde, benzene, ammonias), dental offices (mercury vapors), hot houses (pesticides), enclosed swimming pools and hot tugs (chlorine vapors), garbage areas, etc. Special carbon blends are available for over 4000 airborne chemicals (call 866-875-4386 for more info or email).
The carbon in the C600 can be upgraded to Super Carbon, an impregnated carbon blend where problems are formaldehyde or ammonia based.
