What is So-Called "Natural" Talcum Powder?

Talc is a mineral, produced by the mining of talc rocks that are processed by crushing, drying and milling. Processing eliminates many of the trace minerals from the talcum powder, but does not separate minute fibers that are closely related to the potent carcinogen asbestos.
