How the Bio Washing Ball Works

The Biowashball® patented cleaning technology contains microballs that use a proprietary blend of ceramics, various minerals and micro organisms, each component having different properties for different purposes, which, when combined allows the Biowashball® to effectively clean clothes.

It is the powerful remote infrared rays emitted by the Biowashball that break the hydrogen molecules of water to increase molecular movement. This gives water a high penetration capacity and improves its washing properties.

Also, the Biowashball emits negative ions that weaken the adherence of dirt on fabric so that it is easily removed without the use of detergent. The Biowashball® has a pH of about 10 which is equivalent to that of an ordinary chemical detergent. This high alkalinity treats grease, organic or chemical stains efficiently. The Biowashball® eliminates chlorine compounds in water and decreases its superficial pressure, therefore, increasing its washing power. How to Use the Green Clean BioWashBall Laundry Ball

The following are tips on how to get the most from your BioWashBall Landry Ball:

1. Clean out your washing machine by running it without clothes or the BioWashBall and with 2 cups vinegar doing a rinsing cycle with the water as hot as possible. For best results run this cycle twice. After this it will still take a couple of weeks before your washing machine becomes clean, normally 6 weeks or more depending on the age of the washing machine and products used with your laundry.
2. Separate the white laundry from the colored laundry.
3. Pre treat spots and stains, collars, etc. before washing, preferably with a biodegradable stain remover. Whites can be treated by adding 2 tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda or 1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide to the water fill bin and can be safely used with the BioWashBall. You can also use bleach (try the biodegradable version). If you have heavily stained and dirty laundry, you can add 1/5th of your normal detergent, preferably using a biodegradable one. Or, you can treat whites only every 2nd week by washing with ½ cup of fresh lemon juice only and NO BioWashBall. For sweaty sportsmen clothes, simply soak overnight with biowashball in washing machine and continue washing cycle as normal in the morning.
4. Place the BioWashBall® in the drum of your top-loading or front-loading washing machine in the middle of your dirty laundry.When loading your washing, do not load as much as possible. Rather do easy loads as to allow the BioWashBall® to get to the water to create the correct ph. DO NOT ADD FABRIC SOFTENER TO THE WASH LOAD because fabric softener kills the micro-organisms inside the ceramics that do the work.
5. Turn your washing machine on.
6. DO NOT Wash Your Clothes above 122 Degrees F.
7. At the end of the wash cycle, remove your clean laundry.
8. If you place your clothes in a dryer, DO NOT PUT THE BIOWASHBALL IN THE DRYER. You do not need to use any form of fabric softer because your clothes will naturally be soft from using the BioWashBall.

IMPORTANT: Remove the BioWashBall BEFORE the Drying Cycle

The Biowashball® is not a miracle like some people want it to be -- stains must still be pretreated -- but simply a means to an end: Helping us to lessen our global pollution on this planet (our carbon footprint).

When not using the BioWashBall, keep it in your refrigerator to help maintain the freshness of fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.

Life Span of the BioWashBall Green Clean Laundry Ball

The BioWashBall can be used for 3 years or approximately 1000 laundry loads based on tests using a 9 lb laundry load per day. If your washing machine capacity is larger than 9 lbs., use two BioWashBalls.

Recharging the BioWashBall

To recharge the BioWashBall, simply place it in sunlight once a month to recharge the ceramic ions that make it effective.
