A One-Person Far Infrared Sauna That Emits
Dry Heat to Detoxify, Energize, Beautify, Slim and Ease Tension

Precision Therapy Personal Portable Far Infrared Sauna imageFar Infrared light is part of the Suns invisible spectrum, and although it cannot be seen, you experience it as heat. It is thought that light photons are absorbed by the skin and underlying tissue, which triggers biological changes within the body in a process known as photobiomodulation. Although the exact mechanism of action is still undergoing study, what is known is that monochromatic light increases oxygen and blood flow, facilitating wound healing.

A far infrared sauna makes our body use its thermoregulation abilities, which increases blood flow through our skin as we begin to sweat a large amount of fluids. A characteristic of far infrared light is the ability to easily penetrate the body's tissues. An infrared sauna has two major effects: increased circulation in parts of our body that usually has low blood flow and movement of water through sweating, including waste that has been dissolved in the water.

Advantages of Far Infrared Sauna Over Conventional Steam Sauna

Precision Therapy Personal Portable Far Infrared Sauna with Wooden Foot Massager imageConventional saunas heat the air surrounding your body, thus making it necessary for higher, harsher uncomfortable temperatures and humidity for your body to endure. A far infrared (FIR) sauna works differently. Neither oxygen molecules nor nitrogen molecules in the air can block the FIR wave, therefore, the FIR unique wavelength penetrates a couple of inches directly into our body. It makes us feel quite warm and we perspire profusely, but our skin is not hurt by the hot air. Some heavy metals accumulate under our skin and the FIR sauna is very good for sweating out heavy metal deposits under our skin.

When you use far infrared rays in the Vital Range in a sauna, your body temperature naturally rises, but the surrounding air does not. So, you feel hot and benefit from deep sweating, without requiring the higher heat and humidity necessary in a traditional steam sauna.

A far infrared sauna activates and trains body systems that are rarely used in a modern life, but these systems are essential for a healthy life. Because of an infrared sauna, our body:

  • Pumps a large volume of blood through tissues under our skin
  • Increases blood circulation in many parts of the body, bringing in oxygen and nutrients and flushing out waste
  • Sweats a lot of water with dissolved stuff in it, so fresh fluid can be supplied to skin tissues
  • Opens and cleanses skin pores that were clogged

You can be exposed to Far-Infrared heat for hours and it will never cause your skin to burn. We offer the following three Precision Therapy FIR saunas. Pick from one of the following portable saunas

Different Types of Far-Infrared Saunas

There are three different types of far-infrared sauna technologies to generate the waves, one of which stands above the rest because it consistently delivers wavelengths in the vital range:

  • Ceramic produces infrared waves through small ceramic heaters. Ceramic heaters tend to create uneven 'hot spots' running at very high temperatures and can generate very high electromagnetic fields (EMF).
  • Metal Rods generate infrared heat through metal rods. Lower-priced saunas tend to use this technology because it's inexpensive, but it often provides inconsistent heat distribution with potentially risky hot spots. Metal rods also consume high amounts of electricity and can produce extremely high levels of EMF.
  • Carbon is the newest technology available today for producing far infrared waves. Carbon provides wavelengths of 8.4 to 9.4 microns (Vital Range) and consistent temperatures. EMF can be very low and cost of operation is pennies per session.

What is the difference between the Ceramic Heaters and the Carbon Heaters?

Both heaters will provide the same health benefits and will do the same job. However, the heat distribution differs between the two heaters. If you are interested in using the sauna for a quick intense sweat, ceramic would be the best choice. Carbon is favored as the heat is more comfortable and makes it easier to relax in the sauna longer and will still provide an intense sweat. Carbon heaters are also more commonly used for those with a condition or disease in which the infrared can improve health and well-being.

Ceramic Heaters

    • Have a high emissivity (degree at which material can emit)
    • On average lasts about 9,000 hours
    • Rod shaped for optimum FIR dispersement
    • Made of true ceramic
    • Does not have a large surface area but because they are enclosed in a reflective plate the far infrared is able to target a large portion of the body
    • Ceramic heaters have the fastest warm up time to produce a very intense heat that will allow you to sweat within minutes

Carbon Heaters

  • Have a high emissivity (degree at which material can emit)
  • On average lasts about 18,000 hours
  • Made of a thin carbon plate for even heat and FIR emission
  • Flexible and less fragile
  • Flat surface allows for a more even heat distribution
  • Largest flat surface area that infrared heaters offer
  • Low wattage carbon heaters give off a more gentle, therapeutic heat
  • Same health benefits as ceramic

Precision Therapy Portable Far Infrared Saunas

Precision Therapy Portable Far Infrared Sauna applies hi-tech super conductive and ultra thin carbon fiber heating elements. The high heat efficiency helps you perspire and promotes blood circulation to keep your body healthy. Ten minutes of using the sauna corresponds to 30 minutes of jogging for exhaust sweat.

This unique high quality far infrared portable sauna is affordable and can be used in the privacy of your home, apartment or any living environment without the need of large spaces. Its design includes the most desirable features found in expansive, fancy saunas, but the the convenience of having your head and hands extended out for reading, watching TV or listening to music. With this portable FIR sauna you will have even more conveniences and benefits than with a large wooden sauna.

What Kind of Output Do the Heaters Provide?

Within this wide spread of frequencies, the 5.6-15 range is the most therapeutic to the human body, split evenly between the 9.4 pivot point of peak human output. The Infrared elements are designed to operate within this range to maximize the effectiveness of your therapy. These wavelengths can penetrate the body's tissues to a depth of 1.5 to 3 inches. Due to the deep penetration of infrared rays, a heating effect is observed deep in the muscular tissues and even into the internal organs, meaning you perspire far more than you do in a traditional sauna.
